The Month of November

Recently I went up to the Tower of London to see the Poppies planted to commemorate the start of World War 1. I was really quite taken aback by the numbers of people who come to look at this unique event. I over heard Children ask their parents about the War and about the significance of the Poppy. It really warmed the hear to see it. It made me remember also a significant trip I took some years ago to the War graves in France. I was shocked to see how many there were of them. These poppies are laid for each British person who gave their lives in World War 1 This sea of Red each one telling a story about someone's Son someone's Dad who died on the battle fields. We should never forget their sacrifice their courage and to also remember those who die today for freedom in wars and Conflicts. This is why it is important to mark the 11th  November each year. And yet in the Church we have a whole month to remember those who have died. We pray for the Holy Souls. We remember our lov
